MOFGY ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE ‘ONE ROOF’ // OUT SEPTEMBER 12TH 2025
MOFGY are back with ‘One Roof’ - a salute to their infamous writing sanctuary and party HQ, Studland Road. Immortalised in their underground hit ‘A La Penge’, it’s the place where riffs are born, nights run long, and fans can come 'to let their hair down'. But not all is well in this legendary abode, as told in this new single.
Self-released on 12th September 2025, ‘One Roof’ is a final send-off to summer.
The track begins with a thick scouse accent taking the mick out of the band's name. The Liverpudlian housemate who needed “a place to crash in London for a few nights”, still hasn’t left and features in the music video filmed 4 years later.
One roof is the single written in and about the paradise that is the Penge palace (Studs/ Studland road). The song tells a familiar story with the current generation of renters, as a ‘tenant rotation’ brings in a character who disrupts the dynamics of the house.
The dynamic was changed but all for the better as singer Danny Thorn sings ‘’Hell of a change, hell it was strange, but not for a second in a bad way”. As the band and their housemates can be heard chanting a celebratory chorus, all living “under one roof”.

MOFGY is music for grafters and the overworked; for those who clock off then dive headfirst into the mosh pit. No frills. No filters. Just noise that shakes the floor and leaves sweat on the ceiling.
But beneath the chaos, there’s heart. MOFGY aren’t afraid to drop the tempo and let a bit of soul slip through. Those rare, reflective tracks hit just as hard, offering a breather before the next sonic punch. It’s this balance that makes their sound hit deeper than your average punk outfit.
Four lifelong friends formed at school in Bromley, SE London... MOFGY was born out of busted amps, late-night lock-ins, and a shared house where the parties are legendary that go on until all hours - immortalised in their underground hit ‘A La Penge’.
Where the lyrical bite of Jamie T meets the party hard attitude of early FIDLAR.
UK Tour dates announced soon, get yourselves down some for a sweaty singalong.
